2024 Summer Folk Fest Update:
Hello Fairbanks Folk Community!
We are so excited to be offering an in-person Summer Folk Fest on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 from 12pm-10pm in the beautiful Ester Community Park, featuring live local music, Goldies, food trucks and vendors! This is a free, family-friendly event!
New this year, we're kicking off the fun on Friday, June 7th, from 6pm-10pm. We'll have a potluck, workshops and jamming. Please join us!
Friday night's plan:
- Potluck from 6:00-7:30, then it's choose your own adventure!
- 7:30 - 9:30 Wernick Method workshop & jam by Betsey Jacobs
- 7:30 - 8:30 Community Harmony Singing workshop by Ryan Bowers & friends
- 8:30 - 9:30 Improvisation workshop by Rebecca Dunne
- 7:30 - 9:30 Open jamming
